DetailsA conversion of an audio visual commercial property using its basement as video repair wing, into two apartments. The ground floor of the premises becoming a 2 bedroom flat, and the basement a 1 bedroom open plan flat.
This project was challenging in respect that there was complete gut out of the existing commercial property before we could commence with the conversion into residential flats. The basement not only required structural changes, but also needed insurance backed damp proofing and SIKA tanking. We employed and oversaw specialist subcontractors to complete this and provide the insurance guarantee. The end result are two beautiful spaces for with newly fitted kitchens, modern bathrooms and wooden floor coverings and decoration throughout.
